DHL Suspends Express Delivery to 6 Countries

Our Hong Kong DHL-standard channel has added 6 over 0-5KG parcels to temporarily suspend the delivery service. The resumption date will be notified, please let customers know. Newly suspended countries: Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Finland, Turkey, Bulgaria. Effective from 14:00 on November 26, 2020.
In addition to the suspension of express delivery in the new six countries, in response to the Hong Kong DHL notice, Peru has issued the latest customs clearance requirements for international express shipments, which will take effect on November 30, 2020.
The detailed requirements are as follows:

1. Detailed information of the importer is required.
Including the importer's ID number, contact phone number, e-mail address, etc. Without this information, any shipment arriving in Peru may be delayed.
2. The waybill and invoice must indicate the correct delivery address.
3. According to the latest customs regulations.
Generally, goods whose FOB value does not exceed US$2,000 (except for certain types of goods) should be informally cleared through DHL Express, and a third-party agent cannot be used for customs clearance.
4. The following goods will require formal customs declaration:
Goods with an FOB price greater than US$2,000.
Contain any type of alcohol or cigarette products with an FOB price greater than US$200 (note: such goods are prohibited).
Goods enjoying tariff preferences.
Companies that enjoy tax incentives, such as certain industries, such as mining, fishing, petroleum, and company goods that have signed contracts with the Peruvian government.
