Singapore Port: The backlog caused by the canal blockage has all been dealt with

In mid-April, PSA stated that the Port of Singapore is fully loading and unloading ships that have been concentrated on the port due to the congestion of the canal. Up to now, the port has completed the operations of all 45 ships calling at the port that were delayed due to canal blockage.

A PSA spokesperson said: The current port operation is stable. We maintain close cooperation with stakeholders to try to remedy the time delay caused by the blockage of the canal, so that the ship can sail to the next port of call as soon as possible.

Currently, PSA is using Calista platform services to ensure the smoothness of its transshipment business. It is reported that the platform is a global supply chain platform developed by GeTS Asia Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of PSA, which can provide real-time visibility monitoring services for multimodal cargo from all over the world.
