Maersk's first direct train from China to Georgia arrives in Tbilisi

Recently, the first China-Europe train, which departed from Xinzhu, Xi'an, Shaanxi, went directly to Georgia, and successfully arrived in its capital, Tbilisi. The opening of the train provides a more convenient and efficient mode of transportation for international cargo transportation between the two countries, and is a useful supplement to the current maritime products.

The Maersk Intercontinental Railway customized train has expanded to more than 40 lines in 13 countries and regions, and it opened in January this year alone. 38 customized special trains. In addition, APM Terminals Poti, a subsidiary of Maersk Terminals, and the cross-border railway team jointly provide services for the special train customer. As a gateway port connecting Asia and Europe, Poti Port Terminal will have more opportunities for sea and rail services in the future to provide customers with fast connections from Asia to the Black Sea, the Mediterranean and other regions.

This customized train uses Maersk inland services to connect intercontinental railways in both China and Georgia. The team also collaborated with Maersk Terminals for the first time, which better interprets the company's commitment to providing end-to-end services to customers.
